Default Resealing valve cover vents in cold weather?

i need to redo the RTD sealant under the valve vent covers. Wondering I should wait until warmer weather. My garage is probably only about 30-40 degrees out now. I’m not driving it now so I have the time but should I mess with it in the cold?

remove the covers, separate them, clean them, reseal them and let them dry inside your warm house over night before putting them back on the cold motor
