Exhaust flange issues
So, my exhaust recently started getting noisy on my N/A '04 with 138,000 miles, my daily driver. Especially when driving in the rain and having run through a water puddle. The issue is the flange clamps on the pipes, come to find most all of the flange clamps that hold the sections of exhaust pipe together have rusted away and failed. The pipes themselves, cats, and muffler seem just fine. So any ideas on how to make some sort of repairs? I did find these S/S V band clamps, though it looks as though "proper" replacement requires cutting and welding. Wondering about maybe the clamps might work on the exisiting pipe flares? Any thoughts or prior experiences? Thanks!

Are you talking about the clamps that hold the passenger side head pipe to the Y-pipe, and the clamp that holds the Y-pipe to the muffler?
