Default Gear transmission chrysler

Hi there,
I own a Chrysler Sebring 2008 2.7 L Auto. I have a problem with the shift solenoid overdrive. The car stays in second gear and the engine light stays on.
Could somebody please help by directing me to a suitable mechanic or some advice in regards to this matter. I live in Perth Western Australia.

I don't think the Sebring has anything in common with the Crossfire.

That car is still supported by Chyrsler, the Crossfire isn't - that is the primary reason this site was founded, to support a car no longer supported.

If you dont know of a local shop that you trust and you have an odd issue with the car, Id suggest going to a dealer. The reason I tell our members to NEVER go to a dealer is because our car is not supported by Chrysler or Mercedes.
You car is still supported by Chrysler, if all else fails, see a dealer.

Google shows five dealers in Perth.
