Default SRT 6 in U.K.?

Has anyone got a SRT6 in the U.K.?
I went to the dealer today to find out about getting one.
I have an '04 Coupe at the moment.
£26,000 for a brand new SRT6 or £27,000 for a Roadster.
Offered £11,000 for a trade in.
I've seen them on E-Bay for £22,000 for a coupe with 100 miles on them.
Is it worth the extra money?
I planned to keep my Coupe for a long time but I am seriously tempted by a SRT6.
Perhaps I would be better using the money to trick up the car I have.
Wouldn't mind getting a test drive in one.

Norrie.

Can you post the VIN of the SRT6 you are looking at?
It doesn't seem that any 2006 SRT6s were built for the states, so we would like to verify the VIN to make sure it was a SRT6 built in 2006.

Thanks.

The dealer doesn't actually have the car.
He would get the car for me.
I think he said they have them in stock though.
I suppose it will be lying in a yard somewhere.
To be honest I don't know if I can justify spending more then twice than my car is worth to get a SRT6.
Also I don't know if I like the big rear spoiler and the alloy wheels.
Yes I know I could change the wheels but I probably couldn't afford to after buying the car.
I understand they have stopped production on them so this would be the time to buy if I wanted a new one.

Norrie.

Yep I have on. I checked the Vin number and it is an '06 car.
Bought mine in december. If you decide to get one, give me a shout and I may be able to get you a better price, not sure though, so don't hold me to it.

So you have a 2006 SRT6? Hmmm. I was just told yesterday by a Chrysler HQ employee that no SRT6s were built after 2005. I did see on the Chrysler UK website that they still list the SRT6 coupe - is yours a coupe?
Just to verify - the tenth digit in your VIN is 6?

Thanks.

Hmm. They may be new, but still may be 2005 models. We still have new 2005s on the lots in the US.
Does that dealer have a website? I'd like to see them.

Thanks.

Its a roadster, and I am sure when I looked the tenth digit was a 6. I will check again for you though.

They may be - I only see the black one on the Website currently (Website address below) - Is there any difference between a '05 & '07 or from '03 to '07 for that matter anyway? Apart from Seat trim etc?

Interesting. They list a black 2007 SRT6 roadster w/pics, but no VIN. I'm not sure how to contact them about the VIN either.

As far as differences go - there weren't supposed to be any SRT6s except for 2005 (per Chrysler). Though some 2006 brochures leaked out with some photoshopped pics from the 2005 brochure. See this thread:

Thanks.
