Thanks everyone.

perma grin is spot on, I still have a big grin even just from looking at it.

Iv have been driving really carefully because i want to get used to the car, but im still going to drive with care because no one car see you if you fly past them.

The car has done alot better fuel consumption than i thought it would, I did 95 miles bringing the car home and used 1 quater of a tank driving on motorway steadily.

Thought I would drop in and say Hi again. I was at the 1st UK Crossfire meet. I was the one with the Sapphire Blue SRT-6 (with a few mods, of course like the SL55 Supercharger intakes and a sprint booster, along with a few cosmetic ones too).

I originally got an Audi S3 and had it mapped to 309BHP, but just couldn't get used to it feeling so "safe" thant nade is too refined and boring for me. After 6 months I changed it in for what I have now, which I thought I would let you know about, as it may be something some of you may consider when you change in the future.
Before I tell you what it is I will tell you Why I got it.

I wanted something that:
Was a refined as the Audi
as quick as the SRT6 and my previous Imprezza WRX STI PPP
could be modded for performance, if required (yes for me)
could be lively and dangerous enough that you had to be on you toes, and can have a bit of fun with the tail out.
less intrusive TC than the SRT6
better in the wet than the SRT6 but not as safe as the STI
a good cruiser
a good car for traffic light grand prix's
Rear wheel drive again for driver involvement and fun
a reputable brand
ok on MPG and insurance
seats for 4
a practical size boot
a bit of a wolf in sheeps clothing

Now I hear some of you saying, what car can offer all that, it sounds too good to be true. Well I have been waiting for about 2 years for this car to be released and was always told by the dealships that if they "ever" did it it would be as a concept car only as it was a bit extreme. Well the day came when it was released, so I got it........

I'm nearly ready to tell you, just one more clue to see if you can guess.
The engine won awards for it outright power and wide power band as standard it produces 400NM torque form 1200 RPM and develops 306BHP with a red line of 7000RPM and if it didn't have a limiter in place would keep pulling hard above that. This engine was used in a larger car for about 18 months prior to this model being released:

BMW 135i M Sport Coupe.....it a real blast
mine has had a few mods and is producing about 480NM torque and 330BHP
0-60 4.7 sec
0-100 11.5 secs
80-100MPH 3 secs
70MPH in 2nd gear
110MPH in 3rd

Just to name a few reasons and stats to you.

Anyway must fly. Just wanted to drop in, say hi and update you all. Hope you are all enjoying the Crossfire and maybe it isn't just me in the UK that had an SRT6 now
