Default Hood Pins

Excuse the dirty car, it's in the race shop for a roll cage, but thought you might like to see the new hood pins. the OEM hood release has been removed.

LOL... You know I would if the system didn't weigh so much...

Had to install the pins because I removed the AC condenser that was in front of the radiator and had to remove the remote hood latching mechanism to clear tech inspection. There's all kinds of little things I have to do to make spec. I need to install a electrical cut-out switch on the outside and inside of the car, interior & exterior fire extinguisher actuator and the fuel safety cell with safety filler.

Like I said, it's going to take a few months to get this thing completed and get my annual tech inspection before I can start racing nationally... At least I got the license and the roll cage being installed on Tuesday

Good thing I'm off work now till the end of July...

Sorry Andrew, it's required by the santioning body so I can make tech inspection... Trust me, I don't like them either, but that's the price you pay for taking the car pro... For that matter, gutting the interior broke my heart.

You could still spiff them up a bit. How's about getting them anodized black? That way the glare coming off of them won't blind you when you're passing that lotus on the inside.
