I wouldn't buy anything under $300.00 or your wasting your money, and no non-brand names. McCulloch or Philips. I personally would go with McCulloch and I would go with 6,000k if I were you, I have 8,000k and they are too blue in my opinion, not enough light.

Yes you can replace just the lamps. I went from 8,000K to 5,000K. It cost $150 for the lamps only.

What happens if I don't want to get that entire Xenon kit and I just want to get better bulbs that just replace the stock ones... What is the best brand of bulbs to get, what watt should I get, lastly what is the bulb size #...

Is there a bulb that looks close to getting the xenon kit?

Thanks.

The bulbs only are not HID no matter what the add says.
If you want brighter lights that you can see the difference stick with the complete conversion kit.
If you are just looking for effect and a color change of bulbs you can just get the hid "style" bulbs. These are in fact standard bulbs that claim to be brighter but not much and have a Hid color look.
I put these in my hi beams and fog lamps to better match my true HID low beams.
The color is close but the brightness is not.
Hope this help, it gets a little confusing.
Let me know if you need me to clarify.

I think the imitation bulbs look really cheap. You need an H7 though.
