Thumbs up An Update on Crossfiregrills.com

First, thanks for the support and comments that we have had from forum members in this endeavor. We are ahead of where we had projected. Orders are coming in every day and we will start shipping in the next few days. The things most surprising to me are these: Within two days of being active online we were #1 on Google for "Crossfire Grills" and "Chrysler Crossfire Grills" and right up there with Yahoo as well. Not sure how that happened but we will take it. Another surprise has been the interest among the Chyrsler parts and service people. (One sales manager is actually thinking about putting it on a Crossfire they have for sale). While they probably won't stock the grill due to low volume, they like it and have said they will put up our posters announcing the grill. Also, the interest in the Black Powder Coated Grill is beyond what we had expected. (By the way, there are new photos coming soon). Probably the most difficult and frustrating thing has been the problems I have had with the Shopping Cart. Hopefully, we are now past that. Pay Pal has worked well but the other credit cards have been more complicated than expected. So, we will see where this leads. It's fun to be involved with a project that's creative and meets a need.

This is great news. I have seen Don's grilles in person (and ordered one, too). In fact, they are even more impressive than in the photographs, which do not do them justice. The parts are very well made and have exactly the kind of "heft" that these cars need. It's about time someone did this right.

Hmmm,

I did buy my car from a JEEP DEALER...

Maybe if I put that on my car the service manager would have a clue how to work on it !

Don,

Just looked at your eBay site and saw this totally awesome shot of your grill. All I can say is WOW!

You have truly raised the bar. I have been trying to put together a mesh grill (I think I may have finally found a good one) but you have really delivered. Congratulations and continued success!

And the Number One Guy is Maxxm! It's his dollar that I hang up as a momento of my first sale. And he doesn't know it yet, but I have his new polished grill sitting right here looking at it and I am about to e-mail him and tell him it is ready to be installed.

Got the email, so I know it now. Can't wait to put this beauty on the beast. Thanks Don; look for my email in a few minutes.

Absolutely love the grilles. One question though does it improve air flow? And about how much does it weigh? Ok that was two questions.

Hey Don, its Thomas (Xfirecorea) from Korea.

I made a PayPal payment as SOON as I realized that you were now shipping internationally, and look forward to your awesome grill.

One question that I have though is that although I have ordered the black power-coated grill, I still have NO clue as to what it actually looks like. I (as well as many other forum members I'm sure) will really appreciate it if you can get some pics up of the product).

Right now, I am assuming that the grill will be jet black. Actually, I am PRAYING that it is jet black... please provide some info / pics if possible.

Thanks in advance!

Thomas, thank you, I got your order. Yes, the powder coated grills will be jet black. There are pics coming. This is a new finish we have added so it is taking a little time.
