has anybody received an ordered grill yet?

 

Yes, but I'm local and much closer so the delivery was much faster. It is a very nice and substantial piece of quality equipment. I will try to post pics when it's installed (neither one is my strongest suit). The grille is a real winner and makes the OEM grille look exactly like what it actually is - a plastic part for a minivan. This is the best cosmetic bang
for the buck out there, IMHO.

 

my fedex tracking # tells me I'm going to get it tomorrow - brushed aluminum (just the top one).

 

Don works very close to me, and is dropping mine off tomorrow...

Thanks for the quick replies. I was getting nervous. No word in two weeks since I ordered. Looking forward to getting mine.

 

Just a note to bring everyone up to date. We are shipping grills. I admit I had hoped and expected, based on commitments made to me, that things would have moved a little faster. I'll be posting more on my experiences later on. The good news, I feel is that the products going out are worth waiting for. I'm expecting that every day now orders will go out and I am hoping that by the end next week all our current orders will be filled. Thanks for your patience.
For those of you with International orders, the cost of FEDEX is higher than we had expected and I am investigating other ways to ship to you that will be more reasonable.

 

Don dropped mine off this afternoon, the brushed finish - AWESOME...couldn't wait to get home to install it, so I didn't = did it at the office, took fifteen minutes. Great piece, Don is a reallly nice guy. Sounds like a lot of the vendors I deal with - over promise, under deliver !!!

when will you be taking orders again???

 

I have people asking when I will be taking orders again. Right now, there are some issues with my fabricator/supplier. Until I get all the orders I have committed to done in the right way and delivered, that will be my focus. When that has been completed, I will let you know where things are. Thanks for your patience.

 

I've received both the upper and lower grilles today! Very nice quality! I just got done installing and the front of the car looks completely different! Very nice indeed!! I will post pics tomorrow...

Thanks for posting your photos. One of the challenges I have had all along is getting photos that adequately show the grills because of the lines and reflection, particularly with the polished grill. Car looks even better in person I'll bet! I know mine does. Glad you like it.

 

I still think a little more space between the bars would set it off more. Is this a polished finish not chrome.

 

The grilles are polished aluminum, matching the chromed ornament. It really does look better in person. I've already received 2 compliments today!

WOW! So that is what my SRT will look like whenI get to order mine. I wanted the polished also cause I was looking to match the exsiting aluminum on the car. It looks fantstic.

I would like to see a Black powder coated grill on a black Xfire.

 

I went with the brushed finish on my Sapphire coupe, I thought it would go better with the rest of the trim on the car, plus the bars look thicker since the edges are not rounded by polishing. The grill is powder coated black, then the front edge only is brush finished. I like the look better than the polished !!! I only did the top grill, and I've gotten a lot of comments.

Easy install, but I replaced the stock body mounting bolts, and the two bolts on the brackets from Don, with allen head stainless bolts with nylock nuts...
