Default Cool new grille for Crossfire's

I sent a message to a company in Germany that makes a nice looking SLK grille that does not have the Mercedes star in the center. I explained to them that while maybe not an issue in Europe, Chrysler has begun using the Crossfire grille design in less desirable cars such as mini vans and many of us would like a classy different look. They responded very favorably. Below is some of the responses I received. They are monitoring this thread, so please let us know what you think of this grille design. Below is their comments: and attached is a picture of the grille:

I did a quick search and their branch in FL is about 40 minutes from where I live and about 20 minutes away from nolexfire or anyone else that lives near Cape Coral.

Very cool! I find it amazing that Germans are making lots of after market products for these great cars!

Do I understand that the grills they sell for the R170 SLK would fit in a Crossfire, except the mounts would have to be changed? In other words a 2002 model SLK has a grill that would fit in the Crossfire?

I want the one with the holes from the other thread. Its like a silver black and it has folds and holes. Looks more sporty. That grill looks almost like the one we already have.

yea, I like them both, but this one is very similar to what the very high dollar Mercedes tuners are using and it doesn't have the mini van look

I agree...They sure look a lot like the grille we already have....I will have to see if someone orders the SLK grills, if they really fit. I looked at a number of SLK grilles from a local supplier, and none fit.
