Any New Engine Cover paint Jobs?
I've seen some really nice custom paint jobs on members posts, but nothing new in a while. Anybody?
Here are the two I've done:

Not sure what I'll do with the center bubble yet, but I want to use exactly what color paint you used on the outter part. Don't want it too shiney, semi-flat like your's looks like.
Thanks in advance
Paul
Maybe I'll PM you too.

Maxcichon,
Those look great. The way you only paint the center part of the engine cover is perfect. It highlights the body color without drawing too much attention to it. I've seen the entire cover painted and I think it looks horrible.
One downside to my base coupe is that the engine compartment has no contrast and IMO doesn't look anywhere as good as the non-black Crossfires. On the non-black cars, the engine doesn't blend in with the body colors.
Any ideas for Black Crossfires besides painting them another color?

For the lettering, I used paint pens I found in the artsy-craftsy department at Wal Mart. It's a pain, but looks cool. They are available in Silver, Gold, Black, Blue and Red.
Maybe red lettering?
Have fun, you can always do it over!

I can't get it out of the packaging.
You wrapped that thing up so tight, it took me 10min to get it unwrapped.
Looks great!
Bad weather tonight so I'll get it installed and snap a couple pics later this week.

SRT covers are completely different ( valve covers are exposed ). You have no choice but to paint the whole cover. Non-SRTs covers take up the whole engine bay and again, in my opinion, look horrible. To each his own. I like your painted SRT engine cover, but the rest is "WOW" in a bad way.

Just a thought... If you took some vasaline and put a light coat on top of the crossfire letters before you paint, you could just wipe off the vasaline when you are done and have the nice silver letters without having to paint them. I'm going to try this on mine when I get a chance. By the way, is that chrome chrysler wing on the SRT avalable separately ?? I would like to put one on my limited.
