Default Low beam Spring

The retainer spring on my driver's side Low beam came out of the pivot socket (the points that hold the spring to the structure..not sure of terms). I have the spring...pain in the AHEM to play with. Which side is the top? Any tricks to getting it back in?

Thanx to all who reply.

I just changed my low and high beams to silver-stars. I do remember that the lows are opposite from the highs (one swings up and one swings down). If the one your working on is on the passenger side of the car remove the coolant tank to gain easy access.
