Cleaned up the front end a little
Cleaned up the front end a little
I needed to repaint the front bumper and decided to shave the stupid side marker lights while I was at it. Then I said "what the hell" and painted the cheap bare plastic looking stock grille. Now the front bumper is clean and the grille is as it should've been from the factory...body color with silver highlights.

yeah mopar that looks great! i have a ssb and have been trying to figure out what i want to do with the ugly front grill. and im not a fan of the black idea. can you take a couple pics of it from further away? and what did you use to fill the side markers on the front bumper?

What I found disturbing is someone thought the 68 style markers weren't that good looking. I always thought they were the nicest looking marker lights ever.
Of course side marker lights are there for a reason (to make a car more visible from the side) but our rear tail light actually servers double duty as a side marker also.
I doubt if the accident statistics went down for side impact crashes in 1968 as opposed to 1967 (when there were no side markers).
Personally I always though it was just another case of the "Feds" chipping away at our personal freedoms.
