What would everyone think of an SRT6-like facia piece for the limited and base models?

Most of those look like front lips, not splitters.
What about something like this? Seems like more of a "splitter", right?

Right, and if its universal and measures 63 inches long by 6-10 wide it will fit!

Well, you do know that a custom splitter can be made specifically for the Crossfire, right? No need to hope that a universal splitter is the correct width. More importantly, the custom splitter will be the exact shape of the Crossfire bumper's footprint. (As was the case with the above pictured one--it was made specifically for that car). These could be had for around $300-$325.

Italia, if you can't get a donnor there are ebay bumpers for $300 that you could get and resell it after you make a lip/spoiler/splitter/body kit. We got plenty of buyers just not enought parts!

Well for a carbon fiber splitter, all we'd need is someone to trace the underside of their front bumper on a large piece of cardboard, fold it up, and mail to me. Seriously, this is a real simple one to have made--as an EXACT reproduction of the bumper's actual footprint. No GB is necessary either...unless people are really cost conscious, of course.

A front lip, on the other hand, would require a donor car for test-fitting purposes and whatnot. Still, it's a fairly easy process, especially if there's any sort of demand.

The problem with making a front splitter for the base and limited models is the front lip have a very aggressive curve to it with little room to mount it. It would somehow need to wrap up part of the lip and cover it so it wasn't such a gap where the splitter and the bottom of the bumper meet. Just mo opinion but we've messed around with this and it just doesn't look right flat with the gap you end up with. If you have a 42+ plotter, I can send you a file that is a pretty accurate render of the bottom of our cars bumper. Note, this is for the base/limited, not the SRT.

Ah I see. Can you refer me to some specific pictures of the underside of the bumper so that I can get a better idea?

It's hard to find one good picture that shows what I mean but do a Google Images search for "Chrysler Crossfire" and then select Large or Extra Large picture size and you can see the various angles and what I'm talking about.

I have a front CF lip spoiler off a new CLK 63 Black Series that I plan on modifying to fit the 6 that should look pretty good when done(someday).

I didn't take any yet as I haven't modified it to fit and you can't truely grasp the "look" without it on car.

Here's what it looks like on the CLK 63 BS.............it is a Evo Sport aftermarket CF piece.

I like subtle mods..................and especially like subtle mods that are FREE. By the time I"m done with it it won't look quite the same(I'll leave it at that).

PPI Design has splitters for older Audi TT's. Don't know if they would fit but sure look cool. Quality pieces but really, really expensive!

Call for price. Ouch...

I am interested in the idea of splitters, though...
