A memeber used the Rikens and was happy with the kit.

I just found a seller that had the H7's and 9006's in the same temp. I have a different companies H9, and H11's on the zx14. All four sets were around the same amount, and look very close in color. the two sets for the crossfire came from flashplus, and were definately plug in play, no splicing of wires, or drilling holes in the grommet to run the two wires back through. Max, has that process written indetail in his write up. It will definately help you. chris

i think he is referring to this guy http://shop.ebay.com/merchant/flashp...Q_fromZQQ_mdoZ
The picture of the kit was just a generic red box that says$61.99 shipped by DHL. Right now it is the second one down, if you search for h7 hid kits, on ebay, not ebay motors. chris
ok so this one? EDIT just looked they are the same kit...

yes the box looked identicle to the ones I ordered. I would recommend doing lowbeams and foglights at the same time. Trying to mix and match colors with hid's doesn't work well, and this way you'll get the same color.
your choice as far as color goes. I went 6000k for both sets. You'll likely get a little more light with the 4300k, But I would keep them the same color as the lowbeams. with any hid swap, your going to get alot of light, compared to stock.
Had an interesting situation the other night. HIDs installed, I had my lights on. i switched them off for a second then back on. one light was out. (btw, the bulb out lit in the dash). i thought, dang i haven't even had them installed for a month yet. i turned the lights back off and on again, now both were out. off/on again, 1 was out and one was on. turned the lights off and sat there for a few minutes then turned them on again. both were lit and they've been fine ever since.
i read somewhere that this was normal because HIDs are not made to be switched on and off and this is why they should not be used for high beams. is this the case or is it just my cheap kit - which otherwise has been great.
how have they preformed for those that have installed them on high beams and fogs since both of them switch on/off.

Use a needle nosed pliers to re-attach the clip. I suppose you were following either my directions or the other for the HID install, so we're to blame.
Let us know how you're doing-I'll keep an eye on this thread.
Good luck!
