Heck, I've got a poster somewhere with my wife in a bikini....I doubt she'd have a problem if only we could find it.
1) I have a bottle of each.

2) I am also looking for the photo.

3) I have met her in person and would love to see Mrs Erzer in a bikini.

4) I'll show you mine if you show me yours

5) We don't have to show these guys anything, Right?

If you turn the ornament around backwards it becomes a deer whistle.

What I find interesting about this thread is that a forum member and fellow crossfire owner stated that she was offended by the post and it lead to even more offensive posts. It speaks volumes about many of our members.

I would only hope that if your wife, girlfriend, or daughter reported being offended that they would receive much better consideration than was afforded RV Xfire08. But, then again, maybe you wouldn't care about them either.

Just my .02

I've grown tired of everything/everybody always having to be PC(politically correct) these days. Everything will always offend at least one person(male or female). Why should the majority have to feel bad because one or two people dislike it. The internet is just like your TV...............if you don't like what's on that page/channel all you have to do is click on something else.

PS My girlfriend was the one that gave me the pic and said I should post it up for everybody.

If I applied for (and received) a job at Bed, Bath, & Beyond; I wouldn't be offended OR surprised if I heard two members of the 80% female work force compare shop-talk in the guy department. Nor would I expect them to apologize to me for behaving like "normal" girls. I would smile and go on about my business. If I was a man that chose that environment, I would feel pretty presumptuous asking THEM to change pre-existing behavior.

If you poke your head into the girl's locker room, it's not always Jessica Alba stepping out of the shower nude. Sometimes, you see the eye-scorching event of a naked Rosie O'Donnel. It's not her fault that I saw her in her enormity; after all, I poked my head in. Instead of getting angry, the best choice is to accept the situation at face value and turn the other cheek (no pun intended).

What I'm getting at, is while an automotive forums aren't frat-houses, they're generally not an even split between males and females. Most are in the 70/30 range between the male/female ratio, at the very most. Chances are, a woman MIGHT happen upon guys talking about girls. HOT ones. If that's a crime, I'm guilty. The "hood ornament" wasn't nude, distateful, or pornographic. Chances are you'll see worse sights going to Wal-Mart on a Firday night.

Are women welcome and respected? ABSOLUTELY. Jane Bridges, Franc's wife (Cruxpyr), RVXfire 08, golfergal all come to mind as excellent contributors. The forum is a better place because of them.

Might they see men behaving as men on occasion? Most certainly.

Should they immediately take offense? Certainly not.

Unless, of course, it's a direct insult. But that's an entrely different ball of wax than what we're dealing with here.

Cheers,

--John

I also have a bottle of each plus 4 others that I'm sure we all enjoyed....LOL

Like I said, when/if we are able to find it, it's a poster so I doubt it will ever be scanned for this site....

As to the offended. I can and do certainly understand why someone would be offended, but unless you don't turn on the TV, walk by a magazine rack, go to the beach....sorry drifted for a moment...this is certainly not even close to being as revealing or suggestive. I don't see how this picture went over the top much less pushed the envelope and if it did in my mind, I would simply move on.

Let's leave it at this, some people are a bit more sensitive than others and we can respect that, but at the same time those more sensitive need to be as equally respectful of those that are not.

That "black Rambler American" had a 348 with tripower and four on the floor to a posi rear end. When I opened the cutouts behind the front wheels it was a rolling babe magnet.

Caught a lot of cops too!

I was a bad boy back then.
