Yes, that would be me. My daughter's SRT has been converted to the cedar red except the seats.

No. I do not want the seats. I could have bought the seats several times for $300 and did not. I stand by what I said re: the seats.

the more I look the more I really just want the seats and door panels. Not a big fan of the red wheel and center console. The dash is pretty cool though.

 

To each there own, but for me this is a great color for a black, graphite, red, or even white XF, not on the SSB or AB.

 

Love the cedar on my graphite roadster. Main reason I bought the car, because I'm not as totally sold on graphite...although it is one awfully elegant color that I'm liking more all the time. It would look awful on some exterior colors, though. Black and graphite are really the only two that cedar really flows well with, IMO.

 

I agree...with the exception of red exterior. IMHO, the red in the cedar clashes with Inferno or Blaze exterior.

not me either.. did you know if you live on the east coast.. the shipping is going to be about 300 dollars... so add that to the price tag and let me know if you think it is worth it... Personally, I don't think so.

 

So who ended up with the cedar interior? I wouldn't go higher then $450 because the shipping was going to be $400. Who ever bought it, ask for the key to the glove box. They have it.

And if you want to buy a cedar airbag for the steering wheel that is brand new, I will sell it to you for $500. Better then paying $1000 from the dealer. You can pm me.

 

It really "brightens" up an Alabaster car. IMO

 

Damn, you didnt get it.... Well if I had known that I would have bid, I was hoping you got it and were going to sell me the seats to help the cost. I got them talked down to 195 dollars dock pickup for shipping in my town. Oh well, I guess I will move on unless it pops up again!!!

 

I tried. I went up to $451.

 

Whoever got it.. probably stole it compared to the last time people bid on it.. I remember seeing it at like 1100 then you gotta add shipping on top of that.. so whatever price it went for.. if it was under that.. stole it compared to last time.

 

That was a great deal !!! I paid way more for my cedar seats and door panels . . . .but man, I love the look . . . and yes I think they really do make the interior much brighter !!!

Go to the thread "What color is your interior" . . . there is a pic I attached there from the Karmann factory showing Cedar seats only with the rest of the dark interior . . . .
