Hid?

Default Hid?

ive got an o4 crossfire and was wondering do they not make a hi/low hid kit for the crossfire? because as far as i understand i can only run low beams and high beams wont work if i get hid's!!! SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN TO ME!

Not true, high beems will still work.

I have HID lows and my highs work perfectly, but only as they did from the factory. I will ask someone else who has done hi and low to chime in, but I am under the impression you can do both, even all three (fogs included)....

Check out the stickies regarding HID's.. but here's the skinny real quick

Yes, you can put HID's in low beams and have your high beams work fine.

Yes, you can put your HID's in high beams, but generally it is not recommended for functionality since HID's have approximately 30 seconds warm up time (to achieve full brightness), thus, the beam won't be as bright as the halogen. High beams need to be full brightness instantly, HID's aren't good for this.

Yes, you can put HID's in your fog lights as well.

they say that because most car with single bulb hedlght lose high beam funtionality since all hids only have one lighting source per bulb.
because ours are seperate you ahve to buy 2 kits of the same size, in this case H7's. but as previously stated, the warm time could be an issue
