Default High Beams quit working

I went to turn on my high beams and neither side is working. I checked the fuses first and they are ok. Could both of my bulbs gone out at the same time? Seems kind of unlikely, but still possible. Any other thoughts or things I should check before trying to replace the bulbs?

Do they come on when you hold the swtch the opposite way like you would to flash them? If they do then it might be the switch. I had to have mine replaced wnen I first bought my car.

No it never worked when I flashed them. Only when I pushed the switch forward. Now neither direction works.

I'd check the bulbs first but it sounds like it might be the switch.

Thanks for the info. Hopefully it is just the bulbs.

No I haven't really did anything yet. My inspection has to be renewed next month so I will have to fix it soon. Thanks for the idea.
