Question What is this?
From JacobPainter's thread about his Xfire under reconstruction, I couldn't help but notice something I had never seen before. What is the purpose of this hose under the driver's side fender?

My guess is a drain for rain water but great question and keen eyes.

That was my first guess too. But why would you drain water into the body cavity?

My second guess was the side vents/strakes were originally designed to actually vent.

I dont see any evidence of moisture draining out onto the body below it.... some kind of a vent though....
