Default Got a NEW OEM Bumper ... I think?

I had a new OEM rear bumper installed by a highly qualified body shop. The new bumper has no return plastic in the areas that tuck in by the muffler tips. The vertical parts are there, but just after that, is nothing. I hope I described that correctly. I still haven't learned how to post pics, sorry! The Bumper is perfect in everyway and beautifully painted to match the rest of the car. Anyone else notice this on the current OEM rear bumper replacements?

A picture is worth a thousand words, quite often two thousand.

Actually I just checked mine, and it looks very much the same. Mine looks a little different because I have the rear facias on mine, but there is a void inside next to the muffler.

OK ... so you guys also have replacement rear bumpers or are they original factory install? Because I don't remember the original bumper being like that. I kept the original bumper, and they tell me its repairable. I'm just too lazy to unpack it from the box that the replacement came in, and check it out. I may just have it repaired, and re-install it, and sell this one. Hmmmm!

It is possible the manufacturer of the OEM bumper cover was changed at some point. Any non-sheet metal body parts are made by second tier manufacturers.

This has been settled, read the posts.
I learnt something from this thread, another piece of useless information about the Crossfire.
I should make a new set of questions for Trivial Pursuit
