For those who like the look, I have ordered some material to make a 3M stick on version so the bottom heat shields don't require removal. Screw backup will be included.

The fiberglass version on my car now has just come from a 130 mph drive in Mexico and showed no adverse effects on the cars stability. For those who will ask, the whole job from raw materials to finish and on car took 3 hours.

The 3M stick on version, should take a whole 10 minutes to install. Should the tape give way at 160 mph, the only thing behind you will be Camero's, Mustang GT's and Vette's, so who cares.
^^^ I like this guy.

I guess it is only me who doesnt like it. I think without it, the car looks much nicer. Small add ons like this reminds me those ricers / mexicans who stick anything autozone sells to their cars.

However, it appears there is quite a bit interest so why not produce it.

Props to you on trying to design stuff for our cars though.

You're absolutely right. The stick-on portholes Alberto Gonzales was eyeballing for his Honda were so, well, uh, Terry Dolan!

I think it looks pretty cool, adds a little something to the rear of the car. I would love a proper SRT6 style fixed wing like JHM2K and a few other forum members, but from what I gather, these are near impossible to get hold of these days. I've seen a whole tailgate assembly with a fixed wing on ebay going for $1500!

Just got a price on this. It was much cheaper than I had anticipated...

$200- includes paint and 3M adhesive.. shipping is not included

That's fair enough - I definately want in on this, but I am keen to see some pics of the finished article. Any idea when you'll have a completed prototype?

To the original poster, when you steal pics of my car and pass them off as your own Photoshop mockup, you're headed into Dan Root territory. That's my car with the Startech wing you just extended upward.

I apologize.. I should have asked permission. I hope you dont mind. If you do I have no problem taking it down and redoing it on my own car. I only did it to save time. I wanted to use a car with the startech spoiler already on it because I already love that design. I want mine to look just like it with a few additions. This was the best/easiest way I thought to do it

Feel free to use it, just give credit where due. I'm not looking for anything, its just funny because every time someone does a custom spoiler thread, my car always ends up as the "Hey I just did this in photoshop"

LOL

Make something nice and tasteful.

HyprLtH20: It would be nice if you could replicate the Startech from lip on mayaman's car. The mold has already been broken for the original, and I seriously doubt whether they bothered to patent that item in the USA, though it might be worth looking into.
