3rd Brake Light Help/Purchase

Can the 29" LED light bar 3rd brake light be repaired by opeining up the sealed unit? Or does anyone have one for sale? The dealer wants an arm and a leg. rsvp. bklaus1@columbus.rr.com Thanks.
