I started the build on these amg style front splitters today.
I pretty much got one side shaped out how I like it.. just a few more tweaks and it will be ready to mold.
Let me know if you are interested in buying and I will start a list.
Price will be $250 and includes paint
They will be made of urethane plastic

Price should be around $250 but I will get some solid numbers once the design in complete..

Opinions are like armpits -- everyone has a couple and they normally stink -- but I think a full-across, SRT style chin spoiler would sell more than anything else. You could even design it a bit deeper, but the OEM lines would serve to compliment you better. Not that these look terrible, but I know of DOZENS of forum members that want an SRT front bumper, but don't want to wait six months and shell out $450 (plus paint) simply to gain a chin spoiler.
If you could fabricate something that could
Mock-up should be easy... find someone that's willing to let their SRT wear a mold for a few hours, and isolate the chin spoiler area for the mold production. VOILA!
If you could fabricate something that could
- add on to the existing N/A bumper
- wrap around the edges to look OEM
- extend deep enough to make it worthwhile, but shallow enough not to necessitate side skirts

If people would rather have an SRT6 style lip I can do that.. I just need to know that it will not be a waste of time.
how about we start a list of those interested in a SRT6 style lip and a list that want the splitters. Maybe I will build both?

If your AMG style splitters look exactly like the white C-class in your pics, then I'm a buyer. Your mock ups are a little thin, kind of like fangs hanging off the front, but the AMG front lip is thicker, and more curved/organic looking. I think the angle of your mock ups is a little extreme (the way it shoots out off the front bumper). The Crossfire doesn't have many jagged lines or right angles.
If you make an SRT-6 style front lip, I'm a buyer too. But that is pending what it actually looks like as a finished product. It's hard to commit to something before actually seeing it =)

Keep the front spoiler with this theme where the ends are deeper than the center. It works for my startech front spoiler and it'll work for yours. From the front and sides it's wicked looking. You want to round off the front, check my pics and you'll see what I'm talking about.

The more I look at the AMG style splitters, the more I realize that they were specifically designed for the lines of the C-class.
The crossfire has a few sweeping lines in the front, and the most obvious is the one which follows the front grill. In order to make the front splitters look like they were made specifically for a crossfire, one of the sweeping lines on the front of the car should be emulated in the splitters.
Now this is just an opinion, and I don't really know a bee's nest from a box of rocks and what you've already done with the foam prototype is more than I could do, but check out this picture I made, and see how the inner front lip's lines kind of mimic the line surrounding the front grill. It kind of flows with the lines of the car.

tweaked that inner angle a little bit to give it an "S" bend. I like the flow of it now.

I wanted to sort of mirror the line from the bottom of the lower grill.

Is there any chance you'd be extending the length of this splitter more inwards? I like your new design, but they are a little short for my taste. My opinions don't reflect those of the rest of the board though =)
