New Headlight Units
Offcourse i also have troubles with the condens inside my headlights units.
Im pretty sure its inside, cause its only present when its raining or damp outside
The moist that was inside also has left some dryed up water stains /drops.
I have let them install some new rubbercaps at the dealer.
These are the black rubber caps that are placed on the back of the headlight units.
But the problem is not solved. I still have condens in both my headlight units.
Will this problem be solved if i order new headlight units?
And will thes units also fit my 2005 crossfire?
What do you guys think is the wisest course of action

It really depends on the new headlight unit. Stock replacement....maybe. You might also want to consider an aftermarket light. It can personalize your car and make it look snazzy. In general, lights shouldn't do this, so at this point it's just a matter of going all out and replacing it with a non-stock solution, or hope that a stock solution doesn't have the same defect.

I have the original caps on my car, an '04 and I have never had a problem.
I would take out the unit and spray water on it to see where its leaking, clean up the inside while you have it out.
A little condensation that burns off with the head lights on could be considered normal, but if it stays then the assembly has a leak allowing to much moisture in the assembly, allthough I have not seen this on either one of my x-fires as of yet (condesation) I did have my h/lamp assemblies replaced on my 05 due the delaminating issues which a lot of us have had or still do, they were done at the dealer under warranty, but they did not have any problems with fittment. If you buy them new they could be expensive, you could look on ebay I have seen several assemblies for sale there. Not sure though if the euro models are different than the US models.
