Default Painting exterior trim

OK, seems that Im slowly replacing the stock silver trim look with chrome and graphite color. Even my ghost flames look graphite most of the time unless its sunny. Im thinking to balance it all out, rims, slasher stripes, Id paint the windshield surround and door handles graphite. Then it would be all chrome, graphite, and beautiful inferno red

Opinions or suggestions?

I'm not sure how the windshield surrounds and door handle will look graphite. I tried to visualize it and think you may want to consider these in red. I think that would look sweet.

Geez .... I think your car looks great just the way it is. I have a black SRT roadster, and am thinking of getting an Inferno Red Coupe, just like yours. But if you do make some trim changes, I agree with SparkieSRT6. Have fun!

Hey thats a great idea, it would clean up/smooth out the "eye flow" of the car alot not to mention making it more different.

That's the best combo.

I agree with Sparkie too.

When and if I ever find some windshield surrounds at a reasonable price, I plan to have them painted red to match my coupe color. If I don't like it, I can change them back.

I've been planning on changing all my trim to graphite on my black coupe. I got started in the fall but time got away from me and now it is too cold outside to paint in NJ. If you do paint everything I'd love to see some pictures because trying visualize it is hard.

I had my windshield surrounds painted to match the rest of the car. I am very happy with the results.

I have a black SRT6 roadster. I am considering painting all of the painted trim. (windscreen surround, strakes and door handles) black. I will use urethane single stage from Glastron. Not easily reversible as is the peel and stick chrome. I just don't like painted chrome look. Gary have to wait till Spring.
