Default BMW Vision Grill for crossfire?

Has anyone thought about trying to achieve the neon effect grill on your crossfire?

This guy has just put some neon/led glow sticks behind grill, doesn't look to bad...

I wonder what a few glow sticks behind the billet grill would look like, has anyone done it?

OK for show.....but not for go...they would be illegal on the road...unless, in this state you are a volunteer fireman on his way to a fire...maybe you would get by with it.... things can glow, like from beneath the car, but can't actually be displayed, or show direct light...at least in Indiana anyway...

You could possibly use white or yellow lights behind the grill, depending on your state law.

I believe Red or Blue are for emergency/official vehicles only.

Or as Doc pointed out “Show Only” never while driving.

I know under car neons in UK are illegal, I don't think they've legislated any laws for neon grills yet

The second link looks like the same set of LEDs that I used for lighting effects for under the hood while it's up.
