Hate when they do that with the shipping!
Looking at their other auctions they generally don't over charge for shipping.

 

they dont have to pay commission on shipping.....

 

They are used as well.
Anyway you could go to a GTG with a piece of dental floss and get every letter you wanted for nothing.

 

Mike, the new eBay rules are that you can list up to 50 items a month with no listing charge. However, if you sell the item, you pay a percentage of the selling price, including shipping charges, effective April 19. So the low item price and high shipping charge is not going to save the seller any money.

This is a perfect example of why the rules were changed.

I have never sold on ebay so I dont keep up on the rules... but thanks for the info.

 

I emailed the seller asking if perhaps there was an error in the shipping price as these aren't very heavy.

So just for being asked a simple question he got CROSSand raised the price of shipping by one cent. He got the last laugh.

At that price it's obvious they will not shipped using letter post rates as they should be.

 

Expensive letters. I was giving mine away....is that a tax write off? I donated them to a good cause.....lol....

 

I emailed the seller and asked why the high shipping price? Here is his reply...

Not sure about the price though.

If I need a whole set of letters I'd just make a post now and then saying that I need just one of the letters.
Some nice form member would send it to me for free!

Then I'd wait awhile then do another post saying that I needed another letter until I got all that I needed!

If that didn't work I'd log in as a new member and post a pretty girl picture as my avitar and try the whole process again.
Then I'd sell the extra letters on Ebay!
