Default Headlight not adjusting...

while i was installing hid lights i was trying to adjust the passenger side light by twisting the screw and it would not adjust at all. I adjusted the driver side one with no problems, i was wondering if there something i can do to try to get it working again, it turns left and right but nothing happens

Thanks

Turn the adjustment clockwise until it clicks back into the joint.

I have a spare headlight I got off the shelf and took some pics. It does appear that the adjustment shaft (with threads) must have a ball end on it. It appears that it slips inside the white piece of plastic in the pic.

I would try, as suggested to turn the **** in as far as it will go. But first try to get a mirror in there and see what is going on. Before you wind it in, you may want to be sure the ball end is lined up in the plastic proplerly or you may break it.

Ok, here is a better pic with a larger mirror. I turned the adjustment in 5 turns before it stopped, to get a better shot of what you need to look at.

After installing HID's it is not required to adjust the headlights except maybe for a little tweak to get a preferred beam pattern. The headlights should be OK the way they were previously, any major beam error is the result of the HID bulbs being installed improperly.

Yes, the white plastic piece in the pic, is on the opposite end of the adjuster shaft from the ****, inside the headlight assy.

Thanks for the help, it works fine now and its adjusted right. I got a bad set of hid's and I tried to adjust them thinking it would help, it didnt. Today I bought hid simuators which I must say are really nice, the bulbs had blue film on them but the light is white, im extremely happy with them
