Default Just found this switch, what is it?

In the center console compartment there is a switch, what is it for? I've had my crossfire for almost 2 years and just noticed it. I searched but didn't come up with anything.

I wish it was the "FIX MY FUGGIN TRANSMISSION" button or even the "ILL SAVE YOU 5 GRAND TODAY" button

Either one would work right now.

If you have a roadster, it might be a switch put in by a previous owner, to turn the lights on and off on a windscreen. Windscreen may have been removed. Just sayin ...

Now that I take a look at it, it doesn't appear to be OEM. I have an 04 na hardtop

Possibly a fuel cut off security switch or a parking light switch? Youll have to explore to see where it goes, Woody.

Toggle the switch and check for dash lights. Only other thing you can do is trace those wires and find where they go to, that'll tell you what its for.

got to love secret switches.... like the others stated, need to trace the wires.. lighted wind screen could be a possibility. You can light them with a 9 volt battery, and make it switchable...

Not likely, it's a coupe, not a convertible.

It could be a fm cut off switch for the radio to plug in a ipod since thats what i have and the switch looks similar...it just cuts off a frequency on a fm station so you can play your ipod threw it clearly...just check the back of the radio one day and see if you see a cut off box there...the one i have is a scosche fm modulator and the switch looks similar

I suggest that you make sure that you are at highway speed, hit the switch and let us know what happens. Seriously, it surely doesn't look OEM. Your guess is as good as mine.
