does anybody have any idea why my interior lights won't come on when I open the drivers door? the lights come on just fine when I open the passenger door and the back hatch. I don't think it's the door switch because if I leave my lights on or the key in the ignition the chime sounds.. any help would be appreciated...

 

Slider switch on overhead (map) light?

 

Pin 14 on the central locking pump/security system module is the input from the left door switch,
while pin 16 is the input from the right door switch.

These inputs are digested by the above named black box resulting in an output on pins 8 & 9 to the body control module, which in turns digests these inputs resulting in a ground being supplied on pin 18 to make the dome light and cargo light do their thing.

SIMPLE, WHAT ???????
