tow away light staying on!

ok my alarm/ tow away light is staying on, after i turn off/ unlock doors, have not towed car. also it is has starting issues, like its cranking just not starting? crankshaft sensor maybe?

any idea guys?

That's a good place to start.

By front face I mean toward the car front.
