New change to the Aero...
My son came over this morning and helped me install the CF hood....
What an easy job. Take the factory one off and the new one just slips right on. It took longer to get the front hood stops and latch adjusted than to mount the hood. I still have to do the strut... but for now it works as a manual strut just sticking it between the latch and hood....
I emailed an outfit that does custom struts(LS Technologies Inc) and they said it would be best to just use the factory strut. They can adjust the pressure if I send it to them. Cost is $45 - $50... that sounds like a pretty fair deal considering what a new one is....

I am going to have the hood painted to match the car at some point.... I am debating about the vents... leaving them CF... painting them matte black or Aero Blue.... Since they can be taken off easily I can leave them CF and see if I like it and then paint if I dont....
First steps are to make a dupe of the factory strut stud so I can install the hood strut and then get a factory front Chrysler wing to put on the hood....

I like it! I kinda thought about that with my car (if I could afford it) but I kinda like the look of the contrasting hood. I am darkening all of my trim soon, have already repainted my wheels and I think it would give the car a really aggressive look to keep the hood plain CF instead of painting it to match.
BTW, where did you get your eyelids for your headlights?
