Headlight Stops Half Way!!!

So i was going to align my headlights and i started turning the white **** on the back of the driver side headlight and it only seems to go up half way, still pointing way down. When i turn the **** to aim the headlight down it stops after a couple turns and the headlight points way down. Now when i reverse the turn, the light goes up but then stops going up and the **** keeps turning but the light doesnt go up with it. I tried turning it on the passenger side and the **** turns and the light keeps going up, more than the driver side headlight. Is my driver side headlight broken? i still have the driver side headlight pointing way down compared to the passenger side.

I would check that the bulb is seated correctly.

Assuming that the head light is suitably adjusted before changing a bulb, it should be still adjusted correctly when the bulb is installed. If it is not then the bulb was installed incorrectly.

The adjustment **** can become unscrewed enough to make it unusable, but it can be repaired easily and a post here explains how to do it.
