Hey guys and girls, another mod I wanted to add to the Xfire is LED DRLs on the lower grill somewhere.

Those are the LEDs in question, but I'm at a bit of an impasse. I don't exactly know where these would be be situated on the front bumper area, or how easy it would be to wire them up.

Anyone care to look at them a bit and give me some advice on the best way to set them up if I do buy them?

 

I think I'd mount them to the bumper cover surface above the lower grilles and wire them back to the terminal in the under hood fuse box that is "on in run" with a fuse in the wire.

Seems a bit pricey for two small LED groups. I tried the LED strips around the headlights that looked ok until they started peeling off. I haven't found any DRL for the xfire I like except the LEDs mounted inside the headlights and I don't have confidence in opening my headlights. I only say this because I'm interested in how yours come out.

 

Well the reason I'm thinking of going with the morimoto ones is because of the quality but also the bracket built into the design.


EDIT: I'm still messing around with the front bumper trying to come up with a place to mounter them without having to drill any holes and whatnot.
