APS grille from Ebay $64 upper 1. https://www.ebay.com/itm/23438465990...0AAOSwKJ5h6Lct 2. lower https://www.drivenbystyle.com/es/200...26a-67726.html You will have 3-4 V- shaped wear marks from your original grille if you set the grille back , I covered mine with carbon fiber stripes. I am happier with this grille than the original

KJN, I pulled the silver strips off and used 3/8" chrome door trim.

Very good, I was thinking about this as an alternative to taking them off, repainting then reattaching. It looks great. In fact better than the original. I appreciate your information.
Regards,
Kevin

I want to make a subtle change to my front grill, which is all white. Here is a picture where I photoshopped the left side (as you are looking at it) to reduce the all white appearance. I’m not a fan of the stainless or mesh grills so I thought I’d play with the original a bit.

Left side photoshopped, right side stock

The more time you take and look at other ideas/photos the better decision you will make for you but the photo-shopped side looks better it has contrast

I’ll be providing some parts for exterior hopefully by end of summer. These are just prototypes, I’m much further along now. Final items will hopefully be 3D printed. IMO all the grills available leave to large of an opening or have ugly flat surfaces that don’t look factory. Best part is these add ons use the readily available Zunsport grill. Which is a quality package but just looks too large and 3rd party.

Billet grille from Ebay
I like the look of the billet grille, set back to the rear so it gives you more dimension

Does anyone have a good HD picture with this grill and a DCAI fitted? Iirc it doesn’t show through very well but I can’t recall for certain. Thats the reason why I like my mesh with the thick silver outline so much, but I’ve always loved the billet grille. I need to order the bottom two grilled in billet form regardless, love the retro look of them.

I did this to my grille using the chrome stick on prior to replacing it with a billet grille.

There are photos on the forum that show the filters etc behind the so called billet grille and it does not look good. The mesh grilles are not so bad.
Personally I am not too fond of either, the best mesh grille is the one from the UK.

I would think if the Dcai or single cai were flat black or painted you could use most grille styles without it showing through

I do not think I have seen a black filter, green yes, but maybe there is. If you can see too much of anything it spoils the grilles look.

I think the mesh grill from Zunsport is the one referenced by onehunder80 above: CLICK

I tend to agree with his opinion that it is probably the best mesh grille out there for the Crossfire. Clean look without the large border.

One of the better designed & fabricated billet grilles that I've come across for the Crossfire: CLICK

GTG also has the small lower billet grille overlays to match.
