Sounds like you turned your headlight switch too far to the left. There are two positions to the left of "off". The first position will turn on those lights on the right side of the car and the second position will turn on the left side lights.

In short - check your headlight switch and make sure it is straight up and down when you want the lights off.

Well DRAT!! I went for the easy fix and missed. Could be your Illumination Control Module went belly up, but I'm not a fan of throwing parts at a car without doing a fair amount of troubleshooting. Hopefully, one of the electrical gurus will be along shortly to shed some light on the subject ... (did ya catch that - shed some "light"?)

Just a few thoughts ...
How old is the battery?
Are the battery connections clean and tight?
Have you checked under the foam in the trunk for water?
Have you made any recent changes to the car?

I am thinking light switch at this point. Fog lights are controlled there, as well as the ability to just turn on the left side...so, although you are in the correct position, contacts in the switch may not be... Pull your switch out and take a look at it...
