Actually more like "Ground Affects)
Tried to post these photo's in another thread, but had problems. So thanks to a good friend "Shibing" here they are.
Was just "sizing" them up for a friend on another forum, and I thought they looked kind of interesting.
Probably would go better on a base car where the fender strakes are painted like the car.
I discovered, the rocker panel bows out in the center of the car. (9.5 years with the car and I never noticed that before).
One thing for sure, they would prevent stone chips.

If those slots are cutouts, I'd bet those whistle like the dickens! Combine that with the charger whine and she'd be a real screamer, literaly!
Mike have you thought about getting the skirts made of plastic chrome and two sided tape, the amx people would buy them also.
Syfi, those are off a 70 AMX ,,no they are not open they are indented and painted black. On the 69 AMX they had side exhaust (factory ) and those were slotted for cooling and so when you got out of the car you did not burn your leg. jim

Nope they don't whistle, just like the side pipe covers on the C2 Vettes never whistled either.
Here's how they sound on my AMX.

I was looking at these as well as Viper side skirts when trying to fit side pipes on the roadster. Just not enough room to do it justice. The viper older model skirts and pipes would look good, but channeling the exhaust was not going to work the way I wanted. I scrapped that project long ago
