I hope you are all aware that the red rear side markers are not the same as the amber front side markers, they have a little different shape. The clear side markers from Rob, are for the front. They can be made to work on the rear but the fit isn't quite right but if you don't point it out, most people will not notice. Consider making your own using the stock markers, carefully cutting of the colored lens, then forming clear lenses from drop ceiling light panels or some such. Might try it myself. I just finished making new emblems for the front and rear of car.

Those ceiling panels are made from crap plastic and they go yellow as they age, put them in sunlight and they will not last too long is what I'm guessing. Plastic parts on these cars have UV damage limiting additives in them. Mind you the trouble some have with the headlights one would doubt that statement.

Three words...........suit your self .................

Acrylic comes in many grades, the light fixture panels are cheap *****, shatter easily and turn yellow. If you want to take of the colored lenses on OEM parts, which cost up to $30 each be my guest.

PS
If anyone wants to buy a front or rear OEM side marker after trying this, I have used ones at $30 each plus shipping.

Hello everyone.

I see many of you replaced your original side markers for the clear ones. For those of you that replaced your original side markers for the clear ones, would you be interested in selling me your originals for the rear? I own a 2007.

I will try to send each of you a PM, if this feature is turned on for me. Thank you!

Tanea
