Default What type of comments do you get?

I get so many comments from all ages who go out of thier way to say how much they like the Xfire. Have any stories of your own?

Here's two of mine:
Driving down town in heavy traffic and I hear a honking from an older 1/2 ton two lanes to my left. I look over and here is a big guy with tatoos trying to get my attention. As soon as I make eye contact, both he and his girl friend smile and give me a thumbs up!
Two days later I pull up to a stop light next to a big truck with and big guy, with all the tatoos and looks just like a biker. He yells down, "Hey man! Nice ride!"
Hell, I'm not that cute, so it must be the car!

A mom and her daughter were pretty much drooling on the window of their car driving next to me. I slow down and roll the window down and the mom says "nice car, is it as fast as it looks" and I reply "fast enough for me!"

I was walking behind a family in a parking lot, going to my car and they all stop behind it and say "Wow, NICE CAR!".

My wife gets a lot more comments when she drives it alone. So, all you single women out there, go buy a Crossfire and you'll get plenty of phone numbers.

I used to lease or buy a new benz, lexus, etc?,for a daily driver for me and 1 for my now ex-wife every year !I also had a few others Mustangs ,Classics,.But the Crossfire gets comments every day it's out side !

The other day I had asked my X-wife to meet me for a late lunch as she had just moved back in my next of the woods ! Kinda like a freindly welcoming ! I hadn't told her what I was driving !
I arrived before her and got a table. She then came in a few minutes later in her own car which I had found for her !We had a interesting meal with a lot of chatter and then we decided to leave .
As we walked out I said were did you park ? to her as I walked to my car at the very end of the parking lot about 60 feet away .As we got maybe 30 feet or so from my Crossfire she was behind me a little ways she let out this SCREAM "is that your CROSSFIRE " ?

I new then it was worth every penny !!!!!!!!!!!

We had another long chat ,mostly about when she could go for a drive in it !

Great stories that just pump you up!! One thing that's hard to believe, is that I haven't heard the negative comments from the jealous folks yet! I know there out there!
Complain all you want about the power or steering, it all goes away when you see the expressions on the faces of the admirers!

Rule #1 of Divorce 101; NEVER let the ex-wife know you're driving an Xfire.

I find kids are honest enough to really compliment us.But please kids, keep those bikes away from the car! Some folks look, get caught looking, and then look away so as not to give us our kudos. Oh well. Oh by the way, when the wife is out on her own, guys use the car as a excuse to make small talk.

Bob, I arrived with my new used 05 in tow on Saturday morning about 3:00 AM I unloaded the car the next morning. Every neighbor who drove past stopped to say how beautiful she was..And that was b-4 I had a chance to clean her up.

She's in the garage awaiting my further detailing....Gorgeous car!

I owned a 79 corvette with a custom L82 motor, whale tail, exhaust wheels and paint....I think ifshe was in black or Red the Crossfire would win my heart.

The neighbor's wife stopped by once with her daughter to say hello and greet me when I first moved into the neighborhood. After that, two years without a word (my other neighbors are a little more talkative). Anyhow, I pulled up with the crossfire a few weeks ago after washing to store it in my garage and my neighbor drove right up my driveway in her newly leased Saab 9-3 Aero. Surprised the hell out of me. She jumped out of the car and said, "Hey I love those cars! How do you like it?"

I told her it was great, and much more smooth and luxurious than I thought it would be.

I get it now and then but there's a bunch of Xfires in the area I live in, so it's not like it's uncommon to see one.

I see about 1 different one every day, the most was probably 5 or 6 in one day

A few months ago a guy in a fully open Jeep Wrangler pulled up next to me at a stoplight along Pacific Coast Highway. He yells to me "gorgeous car man, I want one of those sooo bad!!!" I thought that was pretty cool.

The people at Meguiar's have seen just about everything, but at one of their Thursday Night Open Garage sessions I arrived a bit early and one of the women just leaving work for the day walked out to her car, which I had parked next to, did a slow walk around of my car then turned to me and said "now that is a beautiful car. Well, g'night!" Heh, I thought that was pretty cool too.

Ditto, Do not ever tell or let them ride or drive, I love the look on her face when I drive away. Does my ego good.

I've had lots and i love it!

I was on my way back home from the mall and i pull up next to a year 2000 a4 and as soon as the light turned green he steps on it, so i step on it too thinking he might want to race me for fun.. I catch up next to them and i see a guy just smiling rocking his head up and down at me in the passenger seat and gave me a thumbs up. We end up at the next stoplight he opens his window and says "NICE CAR DOOD!"

hahaha it was funny, and a great thing to see after a long day of work..

I got lots more, that one just happened yesterday..

I am a pretty muscular guy and I drive with the top down a lot. I have been called gay from people in big trucks a couple times. But the compliments far outweigh the hateful remarks. Oo also people have said to me isnt that a girls car..or called it cute. That can get old.

I've never heard any Gay (not that there's any thing wrong with that ) or negative comments on my Crossfire. When I take it to the self serve car wash, and I'm wiping it dry with my hood open 90 degrees, I always get a few guys come over and comment/ask questions, gawking all over the car. Hey maybe they're gay.

The gay comments dont bother me. Its the girl comments that **** me off. Course im in NE so its usually the fat guy in the 1984 bronco with monster truck wheels. Or the wannabe cowboys. Farmers are not cowboys. No matter how much they want to be. You have to own cows hence the cow in cowboy.
