Exclamation Keyless entry problems

Hey guys, so I have been struggling to troubleshoot the keyless entry not working on my 05 coupe. The locks appear to work just fine when I am in the car with it running but once I shut it off and get out the keyless entry does nothing. My concern is there is no way for me to lock my hatch this way. I have been just locking the passenger by hand then the driver's door by key. My fear is that the key fob buttons have been worn out.
Here are some things I've done already to eliminate some variables
- Checked batteries w/ volt meter and replace
- Checked fuses 9/4 which correlated to central locking system
- Checked fuse F4 in the relay center
- Checked the vacuum/pnuematic pump in the rear of the car for leaks/visible water damage
- Attempted to reprogram the fobs by hitting unlock/lock twice then turning the key to the on position

With no avail the fobs still when used result in nothing even moving.
Thanks in advance for any advice, I really appreciate it.

Is the little window on the FOB lighting up when pressing the buttons? You should see it blink brightly if you press and hold both lock and unlock buttons for a few seconds (that toggles the both doors or drivers door unlock feature).. it dimly lights when pressing only one..

I just got back from the auto part store and I used their device to test the transmitter, it is transmitting. On both FOB the lights are dim with the push of one button and bright when I hold down both for ~5 seconds. Do you think this could be unprogrammed FOBs?

Well sounds like you tried programming.. just to clarify.. you only pushed 1 of the buttons twice and inserted key and turned to run position right?

Yes that is what I tried. After this did not work I did extensive research and found that the left (when standing in front of the car) relay which is yellow is related to the central locking system. I ordered a new relay and replaced and then tried reprogramming the FOB and still nothing. At this point I am kind of stumped.
