Default Help! Please!

I'm trying to figure out what to call the part, and or, what the part number is...that pesky little rubber boot on the gas door lid ejector push button...without it the door doesn't open without having to dig for the lip.
Thanks

If you look in the parts manual you will see it is called "that pesky little rubber boot".
I looked and cannot find it, sorry.

I too spent 30 minutes searching through the parts manual. No joy.

215 639 00 07 (Mercedes) for the push button assembly if you have a nearby u-pull yard just go in and go to most any Mercedes twist and pull the assembly out. Or, https://coimports.com/products/00-06...oem-2156390007

That part is just like those door openers on cabinets, I cannot quite see what the boot has to do with it,

What happened to damage it?

I could not see why the boot would affect anything, you should have said the whole plunger was missing.
That is like telling your doctor that your boot is missing, when he looks at it he tells you your whole foot has gone.
