Typical broken glass lens issue, but light still works. Got some 3/16" plexiglass ,took the tire off, removed the access door, took the fog light out , cut a template, cut the plexiglass with a dremel , glued the the lens in from inside the bumper, put the fog light back in and put silicone in around the bottom of the lens to make it look nicer. The fog light opening isn't perfectly flush so I had to glue it mainly to the top and middle side edge. This left about a quarter inch gap at the bottom. It's not perfect, but just looking, it looks like the other side and it protects the light. I wish the glass lenses were replaceable.

That is a good fix for sure, but those people with unbroken lenses could learn from it.
Make a similar shaped price of plastic that is the size of the lamp lens, round and polish the edges of the plastic, silicon it to the front of the lens and you have protection against stones and gravel.
When it gets marked up just replace it.
Maybe LEDs could be incorporated behind the plastic and sealed against water.
