LED Headlights
Has anyone had success with LEDS in the Headlights? I was just wondering if modern technology had improved them. My car has had an HID system on it from me buying it, but in the UK they will fail the MOT. I was just looking at alternatives and thought reduced heat and wattage from the lights might be a good way to go.
I have Morimoto 2stroke H7 LEDs in both high and low beams, works great, little heat, no amps to speak of and color and brightness are the best I have ever seen.
I had Morimoto HID's in the lows previously.

I had a low cost HIDs in my lows at one time, I have forgotten why I took them out. Nice and bright but l never put them back.

They look good with the light source presumably where it should be.
They are the lower gold ones, and I did not order the CANBUS, my light is on full time anyway.
Never been able to find out why, changed every bulb at least twice.

Have to keep up with the baby boomers and millennials.
I reread your post so I edited what I had written, we need the canbus then?
Those lights look pretty good, is there anywhere on here that shows the setup?

CANBUS:
I do not know if the CANBUS is necessary since my light is on anyway, but I can conclude from the fact that a CANBUS option exists, it IS necessary.
SETUP:
I had promised someone ( can't remember who ) that I would do a write-up on the install, but got lazy, then got forgetful.
I'll put it back on my agenda.
