Default Restoring the SRT6 rear deck emblem?

Hello fellow Crossfire fanatics,

So I was wondering if anyone has been successful in removing that clear lens over the "6" to restore the faded red color around the "6"? If so, what technique did you use to remove and replace that lens and not damage or destroy the emblem?

Faded out red area around the "6"

the #6 broke in half. It’s been glued back together carefully but you can still see a seam

my good fortune was that I had a great spare to replace it with
