Unhappy Windshield Top trim chrome removal??

Does any one know how to take this off, it is the top chrome part that runs across top of windshield, looks like someone tried to clean it and did a bad job of it. Want to replace it if i can find one, probably would cost to much to have it re chromed? Thanks ( limited Convertible)

If it actually looks like chrome and not silver, it is an aftermarket overlay glued to the original.

It's probably an overlay of polished stainless steel (original trim should be beneath it still). I put one on each of my Crossfires. They're held on with 3m double sided tape. Stuck down really well. You can get the full surround set for $300 from The Crossfire Store.

Thank you for this resource. This is the first reference I've seen (new to me anyway). I went to their store and asked about availability and current price. I've also asked about the roof line trim pieces. Hoping they can come up with that accessory in the future..

I did the same thing, thought it was aluminum and I would polish it only to find out it is PLASTIC ! Tried the pasti dip yesterday in Graphite but it is to close to the color or my car SO I am back to square one.
