Here we go again, I thought they were only made in 07/08 as well. But I know that Jack and Inge had an 05 SE. I read where the total production was 852 cars which implies 67 were 05s.

SEs were base roadsters with red paint, those wonderful wheels, satin side stakes and door handles, and an optional automatic. Other than that, they are Base models (cloth, manual seats; no TPMS, no Homelink; no fog/driving lights; no rear speakers; no audio amp; no factory-installed cabin filter...

In my biased opionion they are the best looking roadsters. Although I've been thinking about those blue ones. Anyway, red, cloth black top, and 15 spoke machined silver wheels looks great. I found the cloth seats are more comfortable and give you more headroom. I also own two limited Crossfires and the differences in assessories to me is not a major purchase deciding factor.

Congratulations on your purchase.

Yes SE is Special Edition. The 2007 Crossfire owners manual has one on the cover page, and it's on the cover of the 2007 Service Manuals as well.

A picture of my SE at the one and only car show I participated in several years ago. This was early in the afternoon when the car owners were arriving. I was very surprised in the interest in the car, and that I received two offers to buy it.

Wheels on the SE are essentially "modified" SRT-6 wheels. The valleys between the spokes are painted a gray shade; the SRT-6 wheels aren't. In my opinion, the SE wheels are better looking because of this modification, and definitely easier to clean because of the painted valleys.

For mine they are molded snap in center caps not emblems. Purchased through ebay in 2009.

I guess they had to do something with all of those left over wheels when they stopped making SRT6's.
