comparison of various headlight restorers
.
Awesome post George! Looks like 3M beat the rest (hand drops mic?). Of course, it takes having the right kit to get the best results. I wonder how much of a factor curved headlights effect the results?

I believe it showed the Sylvania performed the best. I guess the 3M doesn't have a UV protectant. I was always told the 3M was the best but haven't used any of these yet. Vey informative video
Whether you use a kit, or simply use wet sanding paper and cutting followed by polishing compound I would not use a UV protective liquid or spray coating as show in some of those kits. I believe a vinyl cover is much better, and cleaning the cover with Mequiar's PlastX when you wash your car will keep the headlights like new. The cover also protects the headlight lens from road debris. XPEL may still have a pre-cut kit for the Crossfire. I have it on my Limited for the past ten years and still looks like new. I restored the headlights on my Limited just after I bought the car and never again with the XPEL cover on the lights.
