Default Instrument panel lights staying on with key out (killing battery)

The backup lights for the instrument panel remain on at all times (04 CF) when the car is not running and keys removed. I have to pull fuse 35 under the hood to kill power to it so this doesn’t keep draining the battery. Any ideas? Thanks!!

.

About the module described below, is there a pinout for the dash lights? Before you throw parts at it check the schematic in the service manual. It is available for you free in the document collection here in the forum. It (schematic) may not be detailed enough but if it is you can check the associated wire to see if it is hot with the ignition off. These steps might save you $ for the module if it isn't the problem. You still might have to buy one regardless.
