I am thinking about adding some chrome pieces to the grill and side vents on my roadster limited. Are there any pros or cons and where is the preferred resource for the best quality?

 

This is the only place I've seen these parts listed, I'm also thinking about getting a set but at $150 I'm just thinking

DSKMail, thanks for the link which I have bought from in the past. Their pricing for the 3 chrome grill pieces is $260. I found another link which might be old and needs up dating. They are listing the same pieces made in Germany for $45. The site I found is http://www.globalautoshop.com/access...rome_grill.htm
I will check this out to see if the quoted prices are correct and also if the part quality is similar to those in the link you listed.

 

Thanks Jack, I tried the link , it doesn't show the chrome overlays for the fender side strakes but I will email the company and see if they're still available

 

I emailed the Global Auto shop, They are definitely in business, the pricing is current, and responded saying they do not have the fender vent strakes.
If you find them somewhere else please post.
